A native of St. Charles, graduate of Francis Howell High School, Brad has decided to follow the same career paths as his father, Ellsworth, and brother, Terry, whom are both attorneys/Judges. Graduate of Southeast Missouri State University, Brad went on to St. Louis University to receive his law degree. Brad is a member of the following: St. Charles County Bar Association; Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys; and Association of Trial Attorneys of America. He also attended the prestigious Association of Trial Attorney Trial College. Brad made the decision to join the firm in 1998; he is also serving as a municipal judge in the Village of New Melle. He was a member of Phi Delta Phi, and graduated with the Dean's list honors. He has served on several advisory boards including the St. Charles Juvenile drug court and D.A.R.E in St. Charles. Steve has also served as Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for the City of O'Fallon and is currently the presiding Judge of the City of Foley. Lorna graduated Cum Laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1994. Lorna received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in Psychology from Villanova University. During law school, Lorna was a member of the Law Review, received the AmJur Award for Trial Advocacy and practice law pursuant to local court rule in the Elder Law Clinic. Lorna served as a Public Defender from 1994 to 2000 in the Trial Division. From 2000 to 2007 she was in private practice specializing in Criminal Defense. Lorna joined Coyne, Cundiff & Hillemann, P.C. in June of 2007 specializing in criminal defense. Lorna is licensed to practice law in Missouri and Connecticut.

Candice Burke graduated from Lindenwood University in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science as well as a bachelor’s degree in Religion. Immediately after graduating from undergraduate school, she attended St. Louis University School of Law where she received her professional law degree. During undergraduate and law school Candice worked as a paralegal for several lawyers. While in law school she worked with the Child Advocacy Project and Legal Services of Eastern Missouri. After receiving her degree she began working at a workers’ compensation insurance defense firm. In 2012 she began working for Coyne, Cundiff, & Hillemann, P.C. with Bradley Cundiff. Candice now focuses her practice on Personal Injury, Workers’ Compensation and Employment Discrimination.



Chris LaPee

After graduating from Saint Louis University High School, Chris attended Indiana University, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in finance. After graduating from University of Missouri Law School, he worked as a public defender. He then moved to the Warren County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. As a prosecutor he gained valuable courtroom experience, including trying a number of jury trials and bench trials. He also represented the Warren County Juvenile Office in abuse and neglect and delinquency cases, which piqued his interest in family law. He associated with the firm in 2014 and focuses his practice on family law.
